hi, my name is hazel and i am the happy owner of a beautiful female eclectus parrot. she is 8 months old. i got her when she was 4 months. this is my first time ever owning a bird. i am going to need alot of help. so far we are doing great , there is so much i have to learn.i am so happy to have found this parrot forum.i will be checking in often. happy to be here.

I've never had an eclectus, but from what I've heard they do need a particularly specialized diet. There are a few older conversations on the topic; they should be easy enough to find if you search for eclectus and food. Let us know if you have any specific questions and when you get around to it we'd love to see some pictures of your eclectus.
