So this image popped up on a social media feed, and it got me thinking. It's directed toward wild birds. Obviously this would be in moderation, but if taken into consideration with an otherwise low-fat diet, would this be an acceptable treat for a Green-Cheek?

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Most likely excellent for wild birds expending phenomenal calorie burn in their daily foraging.

I'm not familiar with GCC, but my instinct is a resounding no. Many captive parrots suffer from obesity caused by overly rich diet and insufficient exercise. Many parrots love cooked oatmeal as treat, served at room temperature.

A very big no to even doing that for wild birds. The fat left over in a fry pan is rendered down so concentrated and has potentially other substances added for flavour of whatever the item being cooked was. Some of these flavourings are potentially toxic to birds.
