This morning I found a baby cockatiel dead with WHOLE SEED in it's crop. The other two also had whole seed in their crops.
I also realised that their growth is stunted.
I've pulled them out for hand rearing now.
So it's my first time hand rearing, and I have to do it with a couple of week old babies.
They've had two feeds, and I had a lesson from a wildlife rehabber with feeding and what to do with the formula and stuff.
Right now they are asleep in my brooder under a heat lamp, and they are due for another feed in a few hours.
I have school tomorrow, so dad's taking them in to his work ( he works with a wildlife rehabber at his work ) for the lunch shift.
I'm going to struggle now, goodbye sleep for the next 4 weeks.
