Parrot Store in Mesa, AZ

I forgot Nico’s shower stand at home. We are on vacation, and not having a shower stand was unacceptable according to Nico the Ekkie.

We found this beautiful, and unique store full of all kinds of parrots. I’m not familiar with a few of them. Here’s some photos below.

We found some chop, birdie bread, and grooming services too. I’ve never found a parrot store like this before. I’m really excited about it.

I would not get all dewy eyed over this place, the cages look abysmally small. The Black Cockatoo's beak is so overgrown, I hardly think I've seen a worse case.

Not too well cared for.
first is a kookaburra..
never seen one in the US before.
I have never seen a black cockatoo with that bad of beak overgrowth..

The kookaburra I was completely unfamiliar with. I’ve never seen the black cockatoo in person before. They had probably 20 macaws in back. I’m assuming baby’s for selling? I thought 3 parrots were a lot to care for. Maybe it’s just me but all 3 of mine are stage 5 clingers.

And another thing.
All those sprays…
At best they are a wast of money.
At worst they can be harmful if inhaled or ingested when preening.

clean fresh water is all you need though I have heard Aloe Vera is ok.

I think ive been to that store before, when I lived there. Pebbles got groomed there, maybe idk lol
