Parrots smell?

I heard that Amazon and Pionus parrots have a distinct odor. M aunt claims there is such thing as "a bird smell" and I do not own either Amazon or Pionus (she seen my conure). Everyone's nose is different. I do not think my bird smells at all. Some people hate any foreign smell. Ferrets and of course dog can have a smell. So people say you can keep ferrets from smelling bad and I heard a healthy dog does should not stink. Right now I know I just hate the smell of cat urine or mice urine.

It really varies from week to week, but on average I would say Marley gets a bath a couple times a week..... like I said, its not a stinky smell, ..but it's definitely a distinct smell...I will say I don't smell it nearly as much as my wife....but she just likes to complain about the birds...
