This cage was easy to put together. In fact, I did it twice...
I just wanted to get it up and done with so I didn't bother to see if the left and right panels needed to be specifically on a certain side or not (it did). I at least made sure it wasn't inside out!
I accidentally put it together so that 2 of the 3 bowls were behind the perch, and one was in front of it. Uh oh... Raven's bed branch goes in the upper left. I don't want him pooping in the bowl overnight! Ugh... I had no choice but to re-do it so that the two bowls were in front of the perch like they should be.
It's 2 inches smaller in width, and a playtop this time (which I wanted) instead of a dome, but it does make it smaller and more closed in. Still, it's way bigger than Raven even 'needs' really. It was an exceptionally good price (for some reason) I ordered it straight from King's Cages. They had many smaller cages which were more expensive than this one. Besides Raven is used to the size of his old cage, AND as some of you know, Raven's house is the bachelor pad where the guys go and hang out every night lol . All except for that old man who lives in the cage across the way .
* It got too late, so I plan to move him in tomorrow. I think I'm going to like it, it's so much better quality than Griffin's A&E. I hope Raven loves it (and Griffin)! 3/4 bar spacing instead of 1 inch like the old cage. Hopefully foot toys won't fall through the grate now so easily. Also better for Griffin. Although his head is much too big to get caught in 1 inch, still it's more of a recommended size for Griffin. Why am a talking about Griffin anyway when it's Raven's new house?! Lol!! Well, you know he's the neighbor who comes over to your house everyday and won't leave, eats your food, plays with your stuff, etc. and has no clue that he's rude. I'm glad they're such good buddies though. I need to buy a nice perch too (the main long one that goes all the way across) but the dowel is okay for now.
When I get him moved in, I'll add the pics to this thread
