You could also buy washable bed pads. They are waterproof on the bottom, absorbant on top and come in different sizes. Two of my greyhound girls had spay incontinence and then kidney disease and would leak urine. I bought a bunch to put between the covers and mattresses of the dog beds. They would probably work great.

My family is doing a "stay-cation," beginning today and this is one project that I may attempt next week (when I'm over my asthma/cold), if I get brave enough.
