So much food for two gcc

Is it normal for two gcc to eat about a little more than half a dog bowl ( about the size of my hand) worth of pellets a day or should i cut it down

The more active a bird is, the more food/calories they will require to maintain their weight.

I've noticed that my birds consume 15-20% of their weight in dry food per day. The more fresh foods they eat, the less dry food they consume. I've noticed that they can eat a lot more in fresh foods than they can in dry, and I assume it is because fresh food tends to be digested easier and quicker than dry food.
