Oh, y'all, I need your thoughts.
Today, mid-afternoon, I let the Rb loose after his nap, and noticed that he had a runny nose... both nares! When he was under a year old, he sometimes had this, and my vet said it was apparently an allergy or maybe even picking his nose (he loves to do that). Then it went away (at least as far as I'm aware) for 30 years.
There's no way he's malnourished. This bird is on Harrison's High Potency and has a variety of fresh stuff, including multiple chile peppers, every day.
I can't think of ANY difference in environment or experience.
Poop, activity level, behavior is all within normal limits. He wasn't scratching or picking at his nares.
If there's any REPEAT, it's straight to the vet's ASAP.
He has had not a sniffle nor significant injury in all this time. I'm spoiled, right??? Yes. Maybe even complacent. I did not handle this well. If he's sick, I will need a lot of love...
Meanwhile... what do y'all think??????????
