Sorry if I didn’t see it, but how old is your guy? My Conure did the same thing when he was was a baby. Now he is two and on a normal routine of bed at 8 and up at 7-9.
If he/she’s a baby, enjoy the bonding. My guy wouldn’t lay in my hand now for all the sunflower seeds in the world!

He is a baby, he's 5 months old

We've done some shifting about and moved our blackout curtains to the living room and have decided to use his upstairs cage as his "when we are at work" cage as the room gets sunlight for most of the day, and his cage in the living room is his social and sleep cage as we can make the living room dark and it stays dark because the sun is on the back of the house.

He slept in til 7:30 this morning!
