this helped me a lot with expecting the same kind of treatment I give to others and then getting annoyed that it wasn’t returned. There’s a fine line between accepting that people won’t give you the same courtesy and respect as you do them, and taking disrespect and accepting their bad treatment of you. It takes effort to find it and to keep that line.
