Are my cockatiel's nostrils okay?

I have a 6 week old cockatiel that I've been hand feeding and it's been pretty active and healthy. I noticed today that there was some white stuff on it's nostril so I called to make an appointment at the vet but they aren't available till Monday. I wanted to know if this was an emergency.

I’m not sure what to say. I looked at your photo up close and I’m wondering if your baby cockatiel could have formula/ baby bird food on and in his nose?

Have you tried to wipe it off with a clean wet washcloth?

I just checked his nostrils again to try and clean it but it's no longer there so I'm guessing it was formula. Thanks for the reply!
