Sorry to post again... but the Nystatin drug says: "[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] If the sample tests positive and clinical signs are positive, the bird should be placed in quarantine and treatment should begin immediately." Source: http://www.avianbiotech.com/diseases/Candida.htm
... but the vet said what coconut has CANNOT be transferred to Rascal...arrghhh! I feel like I need second opinion!
She said since Coconut is a baby his immune system is weaker which is why this happened. I would have preferred to have also gotten a culture done.. .but this vet does not do cultures.
