My parrotlets had a clutch of 4. The dad started attaching the babies and the mother stopped feeding them to early. We were not hand feeding them because of my schedule at the time. We ended up having to separate the babies from the parents and hand feed the two youngest. The two oldest were weened. We put a female from another clutch who was about two months older in with them. The babies would beg from her and she took over the feeding.

The dad injured one but he is fine now. One of the others seemed fine but never perches. It took them all what seemed like a long time to perch. The other three are perching fine. The one having problems does not appear to fly as well has his siblings. He is a beautiful fallow with a sweet disposition. I am holding him and he is perching on my finger fine.

Does anyone seen a problem like this? Should I not worry? I worry about him. His siblings cuddle with each other at night and he is on the bottom of the cage by himself.
