Someone posted an article to facebook that was talking about white bellied caiques but the picture was of what appeared to be black capped caiques (though one only had like.. a partial cap) and I was confused so I google white bellied caique babies and a lot of the images of clearly babies with black caps or partial caps but other (still clearly babies) didn't have a cap. Is this just people not getting their birds right or do some white bellies have a cap before they mature?
example:
Clearly babies, don't have the cap.
Appear to still be young, have black on their heads. Labeled as white bellied caiques.
