I think so... some kind of Amazon telling off cops or judge, depending on the video...
There is a TON of AI generated talking parrot stuff out there. Just remember none of it is real.

Not to detract from the humor of the videos, but I read something interesting the other day on the topic. Some parrot rescues are concerned about all the AI videos. Unfortunately, not everyone realizes they’re not real, and there’s worry that people may purchase parrots thinking they can actually speak like in the videos. I truly hope it does not add to an existing problem of abandoning the poor creatures when they don’t “perform.”

I find it very disturbing
People are very much lacking in common sense now days.
Anyone with half a brain can tell this is AI crap.
Yes it is entertaining. However it makes the problem of educating the uneducated about the plight of our avian friends.
Too many people in our world can not separate reality from fact as it is.
Now we have AI.
Absolute crap and usually completely wrong
I feel this will only severely hurt our avian friends

I agree. My sister forwarded me somethings. It had CAG so she thought I would be interested. I enjoyed one. It was legit. The other were two different CAG. The coloring indicated two different sexes. After my lecture I haven't received another. I worry because these can lead to fads. Fads the unscrupulous take advantage of. Fads where parrots, breeds of dogs, cats suffer.
All those AI parrots on YouTube are taking the thrill out of seeing a real parrot do cute things. Some people actually think they're real.
I guess I can see where people are coming from with their concerns but honestly I find those videos kind of funny ( in moderation ). To me it’s obvious that they’re fake but the way they capture the sassy-ness of birds isn’t so inaccurate. Maybe I just have extra sassy birds

Ones ) showcase the positive, cute side of birds without showing the more negative aspects. No one is going to watch an hour long video of a bird screaming at the top of its lungs just because it can. But that’s part of the reality of sharing our lives with these cute little feather balls

In some ways it would be great to make all potential parrot owners watch and listen to a video of a parrot they want screaming for an hour.
People who know a lot about parrots will recognize most AI parrots almost immediately but many people think it's real. Taking parrots simply don't have back and forth arguments with veterinarians during exams- cute to watch, but totally not realistic.

So true. It's not the entertainment value that bothers me. It's the failure of viewers especially the young who for whatever reason don't understand it's not real. Many don't understand how far AI technology has come. I would like to see as in the old DRAGNET series; The content you are about to see is false. AI technology has been used to confuse the innocent. Voice effects have been altered. The parrot behavior has been changed to confuse those not familiar with parrot behavior.

Yes, I agree. Those of us that have parrots can easily identify the videos as not being real, but it can be tricky for those that are not around birds often. I had a family member, who is an intelligent person, approach me with a video and ask, “Is this real?” She wasn’t quite sure. She was doubting it, but it wasn’t 100% clear to her. If someone with critical thinking skills isn’t sure, simply because they aren’t around parrots often, I guarantee there are lots of people out there that don’t know the difference.
