Here is my big brave boy.

Is he not enjoying himself? He cracks me up sometimes. In the first video you see Chili Pepper fly to the stand next to Slater. I belive he wanted to take a bath too. He got his turn when Slater finished but Chili and Maccardi are not as good as bathing as Slater is and prefer to be sprayed. Whatever makes them happy.

Love Slater's body language in the second video when he steps into the water with both feet. It's as if he saying "WOW this water is cold "or "I did it, I did it!" LOL

Those are some happy birds! I love your outdoor set up. What kind of cloth do you have on your enclosure and how big is it? What about supports?

I want to make something like this for Kazi to use during nice weather and wasn't aware there was a cloth barrier I could use. I thought I'd have to sell everything I own to build a stainless steel aviary outside. Can you give more details on the construction, materials, cost, etc?

Hi. It's actually a batting cage. It measures 12 feet wide, 10 feet tall and 21 feet long. It is perfect for me and the birds just love being out in the sun.

When I have the birds out they are never unsupervised. I am always out there with them and supervising them. Even if I have to run inside for something I have my husband or daughters come out and watch them. You just never know what can happen.

Of course. Kazi is never unsupervised unless he's in his cage in his room and the door to the room is shut. I have a house full of predators who may be afraid of Kazi now, but like you said, you never know what can happen.

A batting cage! I would have never thought about that! Brilliant! And a great size too. Thank you!

You're welcome!

Cute videos, thanks for sharing!

Is a bathing cage someone you buy to guard a pool from neighbor kids? I've never heard of that, but now I want one, too. Probably too big of holes to guard against mosquitoes though.

It a batting cage. But I know what you are thinking about the bathing cages although I don't think that is what they are called. They are real big in Florida. Anyway this is a batting cage. Where one would practice hitting a ball with a bat.

Lol, I think it's close to time for reading glasses for old Roxy! That makes a lot more sense though. I don't know why I didn't recognize it after coaching fast pitch softball for years.:54:
