And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...we just got home. I took him in about his on-going poo problem. This time I had his sleeves shortened :o because he is going to have to take meds and it looks like I'm going to have to hold him. Last time he got meds he had long sleeves and after the first dose of meds he knew what was going to happen and he wouldn't even stay on my finger. He'd zoom EVERYWHERE in the house,to the point we were both exhausted and stressed! Now it should be a lot easier...plus he is beginning to strip so his new set of clothes are on the way and he'll be zooming around soon.

We had to wait at the office for him to produce boon, and when he did,it looked PERFECT to me this time! A nice blob of white in the center encircled in green with very little urine.
I had moved his water bowl coz I believe he was taking a dump in it then drinking from it! keeping him ill.
Doc Kristin examined his offering and still found too much "bacteria" in it so I have meds to administer, .07ml twice a day every twelve hours for ten days. She also drew blood to check his levels. Will get the results in a few days.

Hi Jim... Sorry to hear what has happened to BB.. :(

Can you change to the glass bottle water for BB???

I have Kise drinking from the glass bottle.

I hope things go well in a day or two...

OK. AMY.. Please look after BB for daddy, you hear????

**hugs**

**CHUUUUUUUUUUU**

It’s a pity you had to shorten BB’s sleeves but I know what you mean - Fang is sometimes virtually impossible to catch too, specially when I have to go to work and he doesn’t want to go back into his house!

I hope his blood work is ok, typical he produced a perfect poop for his doctor!

Sweet Beebs get better!

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeez, what a pain... and I feel yours, and Beeb's too. Hang in there, both o' ya's!

Ahhhh, sorry Jim & Beebs. Hoping his treatment will be easier than anticipated and effective. Get Well BB.

Well I gave him his first dose before he went to bed. I showed "Uncle David" how to do it,just in case..you know..place him in a towel with his noggin secured between thumb and index finger. Luckily with him,he opens his beaky to bite the tip of the syringe, where Amy would try and bite the barrel of the syringe. So he took his meds like a good sport and wasn't even p.o. at me  We'll see what the morning brings lol.

Hopefully this round of meds will cure BB!

hope everything is ok! Jazz has long sleeves and he knows when its time to go back into his cage. He zooms around avoiding me until he tires out. Then I am able to get him. I hate it but I like him being able to fly. silly birds
