Bingo goes bonkers!

Bingo has been extremely hormonal for the last week or two.
Every time he wants to sit with me it doesn't take him 2 minutes to start
making that clucking noise and sticking his butt in my face.

I am glad he is feeling better but it's getting to the point I don't want to let him out of his cage.

He has also been playing allot more.
He is a little bit self conscious and having the Twins screaming at him doesn't help.

Must be something in the air. Baxter has been playing with her toys a whole lot more than usual too.

2023 has been running full-on crazy with our Julio. With great thanks the downtime (low to no hormonal flow) times have been greater and longer than this Spring.

The only thing I have is that North America's weather has been totally on or off, as has cloudy days vs. sunny days. BUT, that should not have this kind of effect month after month. I am going with Amazon's Number One Game: Driving their Human's NUTS!!

That said, when I played Bingo "at play" Julio flew directly over to have a look.

There are things I could do..
Removing the cardboard box he plays “house” in might help but he really likes playing in and ripping it up.
Despite the video he is not a big toy player.

I could try to even his sleep cycle out but …..
Unless I had a room dedicated to sleeping parrots (and I don’t) it’s not practical.
Covering Bingo up when we are still awake and active doesn’t work.
He goes to great effort (frequently successfully) to remove his cage covering.
And it seems rude to cover him when he still wants to be part of the family.

Not really looking for a solution, mostly I am just glad he feels healthy and full of spunk.
