here is a list
Do you think it is safe to have some of the non toxic plants in the birds cage, for enrichment and such, or is it better not to?
I have several house plants that I know are toxic (golden pothos, monstera, snake plant) so will keep those well away from my parakeet for sure!

I would say no. Normal shredding and foraging toys are good.

Ok. Is there a reason behind that? Is it unsafe, or just not necessary? I appreciate your help!
Just unnecessary, honestly. If the bird likes plants though, go ahead

Ok, thank you! I once saw a list that was trying to say that snake plants and string of pearls was safe! They are both toxic, so clearly noto_O
