Biting to go back to cage?

I just brought home my new baby turquoise green cheek conure. He loves to be out and I think is biting me to go back to his cageto eat. When he bites i tell him no and make him step up to distract that behavior and keep him out a little longer than place him back to eat. Any advice would be great

Ours bits to stay out of his cage. I would suggest getting a play gym/perch with food and water, so that he can stay out of his cage longer, but has what he needs as well. When Rin got his flight back (breeder clipped his wings and it took months to grow back) he will fly back to cage or the perch at his leisure. Good Luck!
