This is regarding Buzz my son's CAG. My son and I are going to camp for a week. I will be in a pop up camper and my son in the dorms. The plan was to leave Buzz home for my husband to care for. Buzz hates my husband so he will be getting very little attention and almost no out of cage time for the week. My son came to me last night and asked if we could take Buzz with us. He would be able to see him. Couple times a day. We have a small (18x18x24) cage that is portable we could use. Buzz is about average on how he handles new things. He also has his wings clipped so that shouldn't be a problem. I also know he has survived temps down to the 50's (power outage in December) with no ill affects. So my questions:
Is that a large enough cage for a CAG for a week? He will have some out of cage time with me.
Which do you think is less stress, camping and new environment or dealing with my husband and being alone?
Anything else you can think of that might influence my decision?
