Clover's day Outside

We all went outside today. Clover hated putting on her harness but loved the outdoors.

Is that the aviator harness? May I ask what size it is? I just recently purchased size petite as is recommended for green cheeks, but the collar looks SOOO small. My Sunny is 72 grams and it looks like it would be too tight. Sunny loves being outside and I would love to get her in a harness but I don't want her to be uncomfortable.

I purchased a petite avatar harness. I know what you mean about the collar looking small. Clover weighs 63 grams up to 65 grams (sometimes). Once on I have not noticed her acting like it is chocking her. I think she would probably scream if she found it to be too tight around the neck.

Beautiful bird! Whew! you took a load off my mind because I also got the petite and noticed that tiny neck-hole. Clover looks perfectly content, it must be so nice for both of you!

She had a fungal infection growing on her foot. The medicine cleared the foot up but some of the nails broke off. I am hoping they will grow back. I am wondering if the reason they broke so easily was because the infection killed the nail (one of the vets brought that up). They did not even bleed. One of them she bit off herself. I took her to two different vets and both of them think she is in good health. I recently was told to make sure she gets a cuttlebone so she can trim her beak.

Thank you! We are beginning to introduce the harness...hopefully the petite will fit her...Sunny is a bit larger than Clover but hopefully I can get her little head through

My little GCC has the petite aviator size harness. Boy, you're not kidding, that neck hole is small! I have been thinking about buying another one the next size up, X-Small, just to see if it works better. Once the petite size is on, he seems ok, but it's getting it off and on that is the challenge! Hopefully the X-Small will still work with his adorable little GCC body.

Did you order the xtra small? I'm curious to see if it would fit better. I may just order it to give it a try... I keep holding it up to Sunny and thinking how difficult it is going to be to get her head in there!
