Cockatoo food??

Cockatoos tend to be picky eaters. I recommend feeding him pellets as a base. And for variety, offer all the healthy red, orange and dark green produce. Mango, carrots and squash, poms, bell pepper, spicy peppers, etc.

My cockatoos love fruits like papaya and mangos. Blue berries too. They love Warm steamed veggies. I boil butternut squash and offer it warm/hot.

thanks! He eats really well so far I've given him grapes, zucchini, carrots, green beans, and some other things too he loves anything I give him :D

Butchie LOVES warm sweet potato.. They sell the pre-washed, wrapped sweet potatoes that you just pop in the microwave in the wrapper!! They come out soft and moist and once they cool a bit we cut off slices for him!!
Ravioli and tortellini are also favorites!

cool Ill buy some sweet potatoes when I go to the store but ill put it in the oven cause I dont use microwaves.

Just be very careful and check the temp inside of the slices.. They get VERY hot and can take a while to cool enough.. Buon appetito!

Sydney is definitely eating his chop.. Grose as it is his poop has become much greener and has remnants of vegetables in it.. Is it weird I got excited about poop lol

His poops shouldn't have any remnants of anything in them. No seed. No veggies. Etc. Has your bird been to an avian vet for a full workup?

Hasn't had blood work done.. Maybe it was just a piece that fell on to the floor before hand and mingled with the poo.. I'm not worried about it. I thought maybe it was like how corn doesn't fully digest in humans

The Pinkster is on Harrison's pallets. He also eat Bountiful Harvest which is a mixed blend of dried fruite, nuts, pasta and similar stuff from MySafeBirdStore. In addition to some fruites and vegetables :)

I've got him eating any fruit/veggies I put in his cage and harrisons pellets finally!! YAY!
