We are moving later this year from Oceanside, Ca. to Key west, Fl of course both my gray and Persian cat are making the journey with us. Is there any concern about crossing state lines with my bird? Do we need any paperwork? He was only at vets once as new hatchling and never since. He is not banded and the breeders we got him from are now deceased. Ps Elvis is turning 27 years young this June.

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Well, I drove cross country with five birds when I moved from SF to Texas...

And we took Maggie to Florida on vacation... so that pretty much covers all the states on your route.

We weren't stopped or questioned once at any state lines, and nothing was required, except a pet friendly motel and a travel perch.
