So my cockatiels are still young, too young to breed, but do have a strong bond and the future looks very bright for them.

My male, Branch, is a whiteface, potential of split to "something" is probable but no guarantees. My female, Poppy, is a lutino pearl pied with no known splits.

If I'm thinking correctly I might have a chance at a whiteface lutino? If so, how likely is it? Reason I ask, is because if they do breed and happen to produce that particular mutation, I've already chosen my next bird, want to know if i am right or if I'd need to find a breeder with the bird I'm wanting?

I was never great with remembering outcomes from breeding so I would use genetic calculators. There are two available GenCalc and VirtualBreeder which now has a phone app.

I think you may end up with pearl pied w/face and pied w/face and miss the 'inos but not knowing what or if the male has splits makes it hard. Like I said I was never great with the genetics and I haven't needed it in over a decade. Try the gencalcs and see how you go. Maybe someone will have a better idea who is current with genetics.

From the calculator I could get onto it looks like wf, wf peid, pearl, wf pearl with a slight chance of the lutino showing in any of those. Seems very slim to me but possible. Thanks for the links!

Albino (aka whiteface lutino) is posibble but male has to spilt to lutino and female spilt to whiteface. Then would be chance 12,5% for albino but you don't know spilts. If male isn't spilt to lutino and/or female isn't spilt to wf, this is impossible to get albino birds. So chance is so small

This all being said I may be better off locating the particular bird than hoping to breed into it, that helps a lot and I thank you!
