They can have a variety of coloration!!! You just never know since you don't know what their genetic line is like.

ok thank you very much everyone for answering my questions i know ive been a pain and thank u so much for being patient i have one last quest for those people who are experienced with having baby cockatiels atwhat age did ur cockatiels molt because some people tell me from 9-12 months and other say about 6 months so when do they molt and what signs are there that show a cockatiel is begginig to molt
:D tyvm!

Looks like a pied cockatiel

It's been awhile since I kept any babies I've raised. IF my memories serves me right, it starts right around 6 months to get the adult plumage depending on the color variation!

They molt from 6 to 9 months of age, its then when they can be properly sexed I believe, signs are pin feathers and feathers falling out a lot during head-rubs at least.

Depending on their coloration and genetics. You can sex them as early as the day they hatch. My boys started singing process as early as 2 months old.

Thank u so much everyone u are the best sorry for ruining ur lives with all these stupid questions thank u so much!!!!!!!

Definitely a pied. Um I hand reared baby cockatiel, but I don't really remember how old she was when she molted, sorry...
