Thanks Lord Triggs! It's hard not to respect a creature with a set of big slicing blades for a face.
Oddly, it's harder to teach the humans than the bird in this situation. They get all offended when I remind them . . . but I think it'll be helpful even in their interactions with other humans. Learning to be sensitive to the needs of others is important. Learning to respect boundaries, equally so. Maybe it'll be easier for the kids to do with an adorable feathered companion . . .
