Feeding Plan

Hi guys, fairly new to parrot ownership, Rory my GCC is now 7 months old

He's currently fed fresh fruit (combination of grapes, blueberries, apple, banana and kiwi's every morning, which he eats nearly all of every day; and then some fresh veg (peas, broccoli and carrots) in the evening, he's not too fond of eating his greens currently though! Alongside this he has a small cup of mixed seeds in his cage throughout the day..

I've been reading that a pelleted / extruded food is better than a seed mix and just wondering which is the best brand to buy? Also does anyone have any ideas on how to get him eating more of his veggies?

Harrison's, Roudybush and TOP's are the most recommended brands. Instead of feeding dry seeds, you could also feed sprouted seeds.

You could try hanging vegetables on a skewer, or you could try making a grain/*healthy* legume mix and mixing in chopped/shredded vegetables. Maybe try putting fresh foods in his toys. Try different ways of presenting the foods!
