Hey
Considering the messes Ecclectus make with their fresh food diet I’m wondering if anyone has come across a kind of metal sheet to attach to the cage to block food flying onto walls

In most pet stores they have a netting you can buy...mine birds are not so flamboyant so i just use a roomba.

Not really. Ive given up and have resorted to just accepting my lot in life cleaning up big messes. If you’re in Australia you have access to a product called a seed mate that contains the mess. No such luck stateside.

I made one. I just went and got plexiglass sheets, cut to size, and attached with zip ties and clips. That way I can flip it up and clean it but it keeps the mess in his cage.

Just a shower curtain hung on the walls around the cage can help. We bought a big roll of butcher paper that will last for a year to put on the floor and around the walls.

Shower curtains hung on the walls can work if your bird doesn't pull them down
