Yep both stories sound 100% legit. AC can escape and cage that just has drop down doors. The only one he can't has sideways spring latches if you understand what that means.

You poor humans! I, Nameliss, have my human trained to go to bed and sleep. Lights out at 2015 after canine and human potty breaks. No lights, gaming, music, sound, movement allowed until 0500. Now if only I can get my human to consistently have my morning chop ready at 0600!
