GOT A NEW BABY GIRL!!

Been wanting to get Kirby (pineapple GCC) a buddy as he's always trying to get close to the bigger birds. Was thinking I'd probably end up with a 'tiel, due to cost.
Well, we spotted some beauties last week and I didn't press hubby. But we talked about it and went ahead today.
She is a recently weaned Black Capped/pineapple GCC hybrid, just gorgeous! I'm giving her time to settle, will get pics ASAP.
So, for now, she's next to Kirby and eventually the plan is for them to share a cage.
The breeders have been working on this hybrid for about five years. She has already been sexed and tested for some health issues (I forgot what he said). I figured a female would be a better pairing, though I'm not looking to breed.
Thinking of names... Kathryn and Corinne at the top so far.
