hi there! i have been trying to look for information on what my bird has been doing but i have found absoutlely nothing online. this is the 2nd time she’s done this, the last time was about 2ish months ago. out of nowhere she sounded like she was sneezing repeatly although she wasn’t doing the sneezing motion, she was also trying to bop her head up and down and throw up, which she did throw up once this time. I thought she was choking or something got caught in her airway, i couldn’t take her to a vet because our vet is 40 minutes away and she does horrible with long car rides and the vet was closed, i called an emergency vet and they said because she’s still acting normal such as eating, walking around, beak grinding, while all this was going on to not be worried and wait it out. she is okay now but i’m still very concerned. she had a checkup a few days ago and she is on medication for a yeast infection if that changes anything. they did test her 5 days ago at her most recent vet appointment. I brought her in for sneezing and they took swabs of her mouth and vent and said her yeast levels were too high and she’s had a yeast infection building up for a while, but thankfully it was not severe and she’s had been on anti biotics and anti fungal since then twice a day. she had acted completely normal since that episode and seems like a perfectly healthy bird which is so relieving but that epsiode she had really scared me and has me paranoid
