Green cheek plucked until bald!

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and new to keeping conures, yesterday I took on a friends green cheek which had started plucking after they got their new dog, overnight it has plucked itself nearly bald! It's horrible to see the poor thing like this, any advice would be muchly appreciated thanks

Welcome to the forum.

First thing I'd do is take the GCC to an avian vet to rule out any illness/disease that 'may' have something to do with her plucking.

Yes I'm going to, can't see anyone until tomorrow unfortunately, I was just worried because of how quick it's happened

it could be stress,but an av is able to confirm that.
