Today, my preciousdarlinglove has a pink feather on the back of his neck! It really is a pink feather and not a blob of something that happened to fall there (I tugged on it).

I have Relief! I have Joy! I have Merriment! Barney is not a Bernadette after all! Heeheeheeheeheeheeheehee!

Both of my Beakies are having the most awful moult right now and they are itchy and irritable. Feathers are flying everywhere and poor Madge looks as though she's been moth-eaten. Barney's moult isn't quite as hard as Madgie's, so he's not quite so crabby. Madge, I think, would happily eat my flesh if she could. Her eyes are in a permanent state of pinnedness and the only time she's not furious is when she's having her shower. Sigh. Poor babies. I hope they feel better soon.
