1 timnah african grey, named puff the magic dragon
2 tiels, named coco and cinnamon
i have two tiels since they were 5 months old, they are three now. they were totally wild when i got them and socializing has been slow but fun.
in june i received a true gift, i had just found out my mom had breast cancer and this beautiful tag came into my life. i have wanted an african grey since i first saw irene pepperberg and alex about 20 years ago. she is 10 yrs old and the sweetest bird. she is an amazing vocalizer and loves to train tricks.
my name is Jodi, my tiels are coco and cinnamon, and my timnah is puff the magic dragon :)

btw mom is cancer free now

if your interested in seeing my babies, i have a youtube page, it's

Welcome to you and your wonderful flock :)
Great news about your mom, wishing her a full wonderful life
Love to see pics of your birds, we love sharing (hint hint)
Many tag guardians active on this forum (I am guardian to a beautiful AG Mishka :))
Has Jodie bonded with the other birds?
Enjoy the forum and have loads of fun

not bonding

my name is Jodi, i'm the owner, lol. however puff, my timnah african grey has NOT bonded with my boys(the tiels) or my dog or cat. she lunges at the boys if they get too close, and bites the dog to keep her away from me. so some jealousy going on, we're working on it.
thanks for your well wishes to my mom, she is doing great.

Welcome to our flock, Jodi. Lots of good people here with lots of information to share.

Welcome to the forum, Jodi! I'm glad to hear your mom made a full recovery!

I have a wonderful, pretty, sweet TAG named Rosie. She will be 3 years old this Spring time. Greys are the best of the best and you will find lots of grey people here. Go to the video thread and you will see lots of them. Sticky: Video's - Birds Talking - Singing - Playing

One thing you will or have learned is that the grey is a very weary bird. They are usually afraid of new people, things, animals, situations or anything else they think may be a predator. My Rosie is afriad of buttons and small pine cones.
