Winona - Panama Amazon
Gus, Shakira, and Alistair - budgies
Hi everybody! I'm Rhett.
I'm almost 22, and I have a beautiful 3 1/2 month Panama Amazon as my companion! Her name is Winona, and she's very smart!
I hang out at Tweeters n Peepers at Kellers Flea Market on the weekends, though a little less since I started college! I've learned a lot from the owner, and continue to learn every time I'm there!
My three parakeets are breeders and can't really be handled, but I love them just the same.
I love birds and want to be an Avian vet!

Welcome to the Parrot Forums!

As stated, there is a need for Avian Vets. Please complete a search of Vet Colleges so you can target a Vet College that in fact offer the 'Additional Courses' needed to become an Avian Vet. When you find the College that meets your wants and needs, begin looking for a Vet Clinic that as part of their practice include parrots. Work at getting a job there. It will help you greatly in your studies.

Hope to see your posts in the Amazon Forum soon!
