So i have a baby quaker parrot and is less than 2 or 3 months I am currently feeding her with formula 3 times a day but the issue is if its normal for her to walk weird maybe cause she is a baby and she is scared of me but my question is can I handle her and give her lots of attention or do i limit myself to just feeding her and cleaning her cage ( By the way it is her second day in my house)
answer me soon please :(

You do not have to multi Post across several Forums!

What did the 'place' that you purchased this poor Parrot from tell you regarding the care of this Parrot?
Keep feeding the Parrot!
Yes, you can handle the Parrot!
They should have told you this and far more. I would recommend that you visit them tomorrow and have them tell you again. Write down the instructions so you have them.

FYI: Never buy a Parrot that is not fully weaned and on solid food for at least two weeks!

I'm frightened for her, and you. Where did you get her? Can they help? Do you have an avian vet? No, that doesn't sound normal. And a tiny, young baby who may not be getting the right feeding/formula, correctly fed... socializing/etc. may be the least of her urgent problems...
I'm frightened.
Other members... ???

The thing is I know how to hand feed i have experience i used to have another quaker and when i got her she was not scared of me i hand fed her for a few weeks then weaned her so me and her had a great bond and she was more than 3 or 4 months when i got her but she did not look weird walking

Is there some way you can find out exactly how old she is? Quaker babies usually insist on being weaned at about eight weeks, your bird should be eating on her own with only a couple of comfort feedings a day if she is as old as she appears to be. I would offer pellets softened in diluted fruit juice and offer her a variety of finely chopped fresh veggies, kale, broccoli, peas, carrots, cooked brown rice, quinoa, cooked sweet potato..... If you offer a healthy diet from the beginning your bird will be less likely to refuse the good stuff later. It's important for baby parrots to get a balanced diet to grow and develop.

The video is very short and I'm no expert but if it were me, I'd have her checked out by an avian vet, that walk doesn't look normal to me.

Best of luck to you and your little one. Please let us know what you find out.
