Hoping My Parakeets get along!!

I had a parakeet fly in a open window. I tried finding owner but no luck. Feeling bad that he was alone all day, I got him a friend. I walked into pet shop for seed, saw a beautiful bird took it home. No thought was given to either birds sex.They got along right from start. Passed to 2 nights I noticed them getting a lot more friendly , they are preening each other a lot. Both birds cretes look tan , light brown so hoping both females. The last thing I want are baby birds. If by chance they are male and female will they still breed with out a nestbox?

If their ceres are a tan/light brown color, they are female.
