re: Hunter's 5th Surgery (& then 6th)

Great news! And I'm sure that today has dragggged for you. Does she have a follow up soon? I hope they got it all this time.

Nope, no re-check necessary. :) We (unfortunately) know the drill. If it comes back..... but I won't go there. Hopefully not EVER AGAIN!

I need hair color. BAD!!!! :32:

Wonderful to hear that all went well and you're back home, Wendy! Please give Hunter a welcome home skritch for me.

DONE, Stephen...and she LOVED the scritches! :)

She's currently stuffing her face.

I had her and Sam out together for only 15 minutes, JUST because Sam HAD to make sure she was all right. Gosh, guys can be persistent. :54:

Please note how nicely Dr. Doolen shaped Hunter's beak. I am tickled beyond words! (Years ago Hunter's beak was damaged by a rather 'mad' YN male, and ever since has the tendency to grow a bit weird)

Aw Wendy I'm glad everything went so well. Here's hoping this is the end!!

So glad she's doing better. You guys all deserve a well earned rest. maybe a couple of stiff drinks for the humans.

Wendy, so happy Hunter did well and is recuperating. I hope the surgery was a total success and the %@#&*!* xanthoma NEVER returns!

A big kiss on the beak from me to Hunter!

What, a stressful day for you and Hunter!

So glad she is home and on the mend!

Glad all went well and Hunter is back home and comfy :). Hopefully this never returns now since Dr.Doolen did more than the conservative approach of the other doctor. She is so cute!

So pleased Hunter is home and OK. She's a strong girl and always love to see/hear your clips of her, thanks. Prayers this is the end of this episode for you and your nerves. Hugs Wendy.

Welcome home Hunter! Hope YOU have a relaxing day today Wendy! I am so glad it went smoothly and that you have 2 great doctors to help her.

How is Hunter feeling this morning ?

She's doing GREAT! There was no blood this morning. Huge sigh of relief!! The eye is clearly bothering her a little, but that's to be expected when someone sliced and diced. I put her drops in, much to Sam's dismay who promptly attempted to attach himself to my face. :54: Now I know to keep Sam in his cage when Hunter needs her drops again.

Thank you!!! I will try to relax today, I promise!! :D

I have an idea for help with the relaxing.... It involves a glass and a cork...
Well the glass is optional....
