I lost maggie tonight!!

I keep hoping the people who called the vet about finding a big red bird gave up and took her to the shelter to be cared for and they called Mark.

Trying not to hold my breath since I know it will take a while to get her and get home and then he will have to have snuggle time before he can update us...

Not bad news. Just not earthshaking news.

The SPCA has put Maggie's flyer up on the neighborhood apps in and around the vet clinic. Hey, that reaches more people directly in the right area than putting up flyers would...

So far no calls...

Here's the really amazing thing... THE WOMAN AT THE SPCA actually had Maggie's picture on her phone already. Somewhere around Christmas time when I was out shopping, apparently we met, and she had taken a picture of herself holding Maggie... ("Oh no, THAT'S the bird that's missing?! We've got to get her back! That bird is special.")

MAGGIE'S GOT A LOT OF FRIENDS LIKE THAT IN SAN ANTONIO!!!
 
Well this is the quietest I have seen this thread. Cat got ya fingers ? LOL

Mark that is great news . More people looking that care
 
I also think its brilliant news but felt guilty posting under Marks good news story in case others missed it...please God it wont be long now before somebody somewhere finds Maggie and helps her home

Nothing more to say really... I've done all there is to do. Now I'm just waiting, hoping, praying for a call... Plus we had a huge storm, and the power has been out all morning.

Praying to god the people who found her didn't decide to either keep her, or give her away to someone - ESPECIALLY THAT FAKE RESCUE FLIPPER WOMAN! (Though at this point, I'm pretty sure she'd take my money. Her eyes lit up at the sound of $1,000. Didn't get anywhere near that much for the one she flipped.)

Hi, I hope I am not repeating someone... but do you have these flyers out in Spanish too? What about increasing the reward? I'm sure a lot of people here including myself could paypal you some $

I was thinking about what makes people talk ? Your right ,this is how your going to get Maggie back. At my work girls do want to talk :) . Though if someone calls with a problem and the person on the other end is polite . We end up being sympathetic and try to help ,but it ends there . We go back to are work with not much or nothing said . But if someone calls [and is off the wall]. We cant wait to tell the story over and over to everyone . If its good enough we will go home and tell are families too. Im not saying be harassing or anything like that . I would recall everyone you spoke too [curious if they know about it]. I would be willing to be that "Crazy Bird Lady" give me the numbers.It just might take that person going home and telling their family and someone saying hey so and so said they say a big red bird outside.
 
Saw a posting in CL for a male macaw, can't see markings real well, wanted to make sure you were aware.
