impulse buy fail or not?

Ahhh, you didn't impulse buy you just screwed up lol

lol i read alot of people use the same bar spaceing and are fine hope is same if not guess ill be buying a new cage now i just have to make my 4 hr journey for the bird..lol

What ACTUAL measurement is 3/4? (Keeping in mind I'm Australia and we use proper measurements like the rest of the world :p :p :p)
I have a pair of Green Cheeks in a cage with 17mm bar spacing. They can't fit their goofy little heads through it :)

thingamagigs i just converted it- i have to when people say cage sizes because we are silly and use cm in australia ;) but i think its 1.9cm.. so 19mm :)

3/4 bar spacing is too big for a GCC, should be 1/2 or 5/8. Also 18 x 18 is pretty small too.

True! I think the 2mm extra could make all the difference... they are very small little dudes and I did always think 17mm was the upper most space you could get away with. In fact I just got them a new cage with 10mm spacing.

It's 18x18 x 50 something so it's tall but he'd only be in it to sleep honestly outher wise he'll be out and about and I guess we'll see maby he won't go poking thro well at least I hope

ROFLMAO You have NO idea how long it took me to get used to inches, feet, miles, ounces, cups...because I was born and raised in Germany and never heard of such measurements in my life. ;)

welli founda cage i liked alot and bought brand new in the box for 80? its exzactyl same as this 1 Prevue Hendryx Signature Series Select Wrought Iron Cage - 18x18x57 | Wayfair
but i then noticed the bar spacing is 3/4 and i cant return it now..lol its for a green cheek conure did i make a really bad buy and screw my self aha :o

I have a GCC in that bar spacing & so far so good. It wasn't really planed. The bird was a rehome & i didn't have a suitable cage available for him.
I think is should be fine as long as he can't get his head stuck between the bars.

thanks pedro i may be rehomeing a little boy feel bad for him the people rlly no nothing about him of all the questions i asked
