Hello Everyone !
This is for my baby parrot who can't fly !
My parrot is of the Indian parakeet species and is 1 year 3 month old . It has yellowish feathers (rather than green like how it ideally should be) and can't fly at height (drops to the floor after 2 seconds of flying )
It was flying well up until 3 months of age when it developed difficulty flying with a clicking sound from its wings when it flew . It's condition deteriorated gradually and now my parrot can't fly and looks yellow in colour .Also one of his feet is bent inward
My parrot is one of three babies . The daddy parrot and mommy parrot have been with us for 4 years. The mommy parrot also had a milder issues of the yellowish discoloration but could fly fine. My baby parrot mostly feeds on red apples and sunflower seeds and get sufficient sunlight .
Has anyone else had similar problems with their parrot ?
Could someone please help my baby parrot ??
Just yesterday he hurt himself real bad when he dropped to the floor in one of his flying attempt
