Is it me and why now?

Hello family:

I wanted to get the opinion of seasoned, CAG parents. Recently my baby girl
has stopped taking food from my hand. When I offer treats, she looks at me
like not interested. But if I put in her food bowl, she devours it. Is it me and why?

She is sweet and playful, calls for me whenever I leave a room. Seeks my
attention for petting her head and neck. Shes about to turn 1 year.
Some days I feel like I will never understand her, yet I still love her dearly.
Am I alone?

Birds go through a lot of growth psyical and mental/emotional in the early years.
