Is my parrot trying to bite me?

He loves me because he gets on my arm and doesnt
Let anyone but me hold him..

But when I go to pet him, he will let me for a few seconds but then
Will move his head toward my hand with his mouth open!

Once when I moved my hand away he moved his body to try to reach
My hand with his mouth open!

I don't know why he's doing this if he goes on my arm and no one else's... maybe He doesn't love me afterall :-(

I would try to pick him up by grabbing his foot so he
Could step up, but he'll try to bite me..

If he wants to get on my hand or arm then he will.(spoiled)
But if I grab his feet then he will try to bite..

( does he think my hand is a foreign object?)

1. What kind of bird?

2. Is he trying to say that is enough petting let's play?

3. Is he just trying to hold on to your hand while you pet him? My GW macaw, when I got "the spot" would hold onto my finger and not let go... RIGHT THERE... YES! YES! YES!
