Is this a GCC?

I found this bird outside. I think he is a GCC but he is rather larger than any of the others that I have seen, and he is almost bald on his body. It wa so cold and I had to bring him in.

Not a GCC. Looks like a Patagonian conure to me, but I could be wrong.

I agree. Looks like it's a bit of a plucker as well.
 
It is a Patagonian. They are one of my favorite conures:) And they are sizeable: 18" or so so they do resemble some of the larger mini macaws. Notice though that macaws all have something of a bare facial patch and conures have just the bare eye ring. Macaws and conures belong to the same family of parrots though.

Glad you brought him in, you have freeze warning for tonight.We're south of you on the water and forecast is for mid 30's for us tonight.Looks like it was time for him to find a new home BTW.
