Huge double flight cage, dividable into 2 sections.
Intending it for my flock of budgies, but I might be adopting a few IRNs in the near future so who knows... amazon said 2 left, i bought 1... for now

Great price too, I mean for a few bucks more than those prevue f040 flight cages, you get 2x the cage! Its even almost 2x the size of the f050s...

Anyways, check er out, shes a beast!

That would be great for some budgies!!! They do last pretty good for the price they are.

Right man, i figure i cant go wrong, that size for that price...

Im sure my alexandrine would be able to tear it up pretty good, but budgies and/or possibly ringnecks, its perfect for...

Yes it would be fine for ringnecks, conures, cockatiels, etc.

Cool!
Nice fast service!

Just got the confirmation email, my cage has been shipped!

Im a little confused tho, because it says there is no tracking # available....

Anyways, should be here Friday but with the holidays I wont expect it till monday...
I hate waiting for things.....

Lol, and what a dork I am... getting all excited over a bird cage..... ;)

I think that would be a great cage for small birds like parakeets, lovebirds, parrotlets, cockatiels, etc. I'm less thrilled with the price of that cage and the size than you are though, because it looks substantially smaller than the F040, at least height wise, because that cage there has a lot of space between the floor and the bottom of the cage, whereas the F040 is very close to the floor. I have two F040 cages, one for my parrotlet and one for my lovebirds, and I paid about $99 for each of my cages, including shipping, which made it an outstanding value and gives me the flexibility of the two separate cages but I can keep side/by/side if I want. The F040's are BIG and as you mentioned the F050's are even BIGGER, but substantially more expensive. I don't think you are a dork at all getting excited over bird cages, I'm exactly the same way.

That cage is going to be terrific for you and your birds and I wish you all the best with it. The only reason I posted is in case other people are looking for a new cage and I wanted to offer my two cents on that subject - I feel like I've researched every cage on the market lol.

2 of my favorite things about the cage is the large horizontal area and LACK of height....

Like everybody elses birds, mine only use the top part of their cages, so all that lower space is a waste anyways...

I thought about getting the f040 or f050, but even if I got 2 of them I still only have 31/37 inches for each cage respectively...
Now I have just over 5 FEET of space and can divide it in half if i so choose...

The cage I got my budgies in right now is only about 2ft high of cage space, and they still dont use the lowest few inches unless I put a tray of sprouts down there...

Besides, I could always use that extra lower storage space, I dont have a lot of storage in my birdroom...

then we're all dorks!! ha ha

of course we all get excited for something new for our birds, it's a curse, lol.

nice cage, I love the pull out divider, that will definitely come in handy, great price too.

I guess you'll have to assemble it?

I hope it gets there without being damaged, there is nothing worse than that, but hopefully that won't happen.

can't wait to see some pics!:D

btw, there is usually no tracking number until it's entered into the courier data bank, which might take a day or two.

Lol, that is my FAVORITE part about buying something.....

I read the few reviews on amazon, and it says the directions suck...
I really hope they do, cause I love figuring stuff out...
Its always such a let-down if something is too easy for me to figure out and build.

And I always try to make it last 2x as long as it should, so as not to ruin my "fix" too quickly... ;)

I mean look at what I put myself thru with that stupid jungletalk playgym i posted about.... ;)

ETA- lol, a few years ago i was dating this girl who loved buying stuff from Ikea... I shoulda married her ;)

What a great cage! I wish it was available on the Canadian amazon site.

Dang!
Just went to Amazon to order the last one they had...

Lol, its already gone!

Which one of you got it???

You snooze you lose....lol....not me, I don't need anymore cages as I'm trying to rid some once I build the aviary....

I have the same cage and I love it! So do you live in or near mo??? I think we would be good friends. My husband and I have a large flock and will be buying another cage in a few months! ;-) :-D

Btw my husband said the directions suck for it

Btw my husband said the directions suck for it

Im hoping so ;)

No, I live out here in sunny Ca!
...doesnt mean we cant be friends :)
I like to be friends with everybody, makes life so much easier....

I have this for my tiel flock...it's awesome! Mind you, I think people (not you necessarily) see this cage and assume that you can put a LOT of small birds in it, which is not necessarily true. Finches, maybe, but not really THAT many budgies, tiels, etc. I have seven tiels and this would be too small for them if the doors weren't open all day so they could come and go from their big tree stand at will. I would say it's great for up to six tiny birds, four small birds or one or two small/medium birds (assuming they're in the cage for long periods).

Here's what I did with mine.

Oooooh, I like that!!
Thanks for posting that picture!

Gives me more of an idea on what the size actually looks like with those cockatiels on it....

This is gonna work out good!
Many thanks!

Nice grab!!! Eeeee!!! That is going to make a great home for your budgies!! Can't wait to see your setup! Those 'tiels look mighty happy!!!!
