Hi I'm new here and own a kakariki, Hamilton (Hammie).
I got him about six months ago and he went from a very shy and timid bird to a chatter box. He is the cutest thing but he has a bit of a biting problem.
It would start with a nibble and then he would suddenly take a chunk.
All of the advice I have gotten is for tamed birds. For example, put him back in the cage or put him down, ect. But he isnt tame and i dont know how to tame or bond with him without him hurting me. I dont know what to do. Does anyone has advice for me?
