Nigel sent his trusted Moluccan, Snowball, to take a bite out of the recent leaks present in Prasilas office. We are not sure the state of affairs at this time. Nigel felt satisfied with Kevin’s decision to dispatch the peacocks to sound the alarm in the Americas.

We are not sure how deep this will go but the cleanup has begun.

High level sources at (not so) top secret US military base Pine Gap have confirmed today the total failure of affiliated computer systems in the north of Briz Vegas. This failure has also impacted the offices of new Australian Prime Minister ScoMo. Sources confirm that a link to recent similar events in Greytown, Burundi is being investigated. Mayor Kevin of Greytown has been approached for comment.

A quack team of IT mallards has been urgently dispatched to Briz Vegas to restore connectivity. Speaking from one end of two tin cans joined up by a piece of string, Prime Minister ScoMo assured this reporter than no tern would remain unstoned to find the source of the outage.

In related news, the long mothballed NFI Flying School in north Briz Vegas is being re-opened today to enable the PM to complete flight training. He will receive instructions from retired RAAF Squadron Leader Fang to obtain official certification. What could possibly go wrong?!

[FONT=&quot]As the KLM 747-200M (combi) rolled from the taxiway on to the runway, the tower cleared them for take-off. The new series Rolls Royce engines spun-up as the aircraft began its roll down the runway. Having just completed its major retrofit of near all major systems, passenger compartment, and flight control systems, she was once again a shining example of a long-haul aircraft. This short haul from Hong Kong to Taiwan will be the shortest and lightest of the five-leg journey. With just five pods in the cargo area, the crew for the next leg, nine members of Yellow-Nape Law - Hong Kong, LLC and their luggage, plus fuel, the aircraft easily lifted off and turned out over the South China Sea.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]When pilot came on and stated that they had cleared China air space and as they turned northwest to Taiwan, Yang drew a long breath and for the first time in three days relaxed. Chen, his staff Parrot asked if he was okay. The smile on his face told her everything, they had made it. All nine of them have cleared customs, their luggage and the five pods all on-board and now making their way to Taiwan. Yang was certain that the combination of five Taiwanese and four Japanese passported Amazons would raise some suspicions, but combined with the multi-nationalities of the flight crews and they just flowed through, likely since this flight normally carried only KLM crew members, employees and little else.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]As the Pilot announced preparation for landing in Taiwan, Yang remembered the call from Julio stating that they need to quickly close the Hong Kong offices. The earlier internet attack on that office had been near non-stop and after Yang disconnected the server, the office had been broken into. Thinking back-over that event, he was not surprised by the choice. He recalled the discussion and believed it to be impossible, especially when he received the schedule from Julio. They had provided the staff a day-off on Friday with the cover being the repair of the building and tied it to an off-site meeting Monday morning including breakfast completed the cover and set the stage for the announcements of the changes to the staff, and their customers. As promised Julio’s staff arrived at 8:30 hours and they had pods loaded and on their way to the airport ten hours later. The repair staff was on site very early Saturday morning and completed their work Sunday at 11:30 hours. The new office equipment arrived a 13:00 hours and everything was in place by 19:00 hours, including a new server and phone equipment.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Just like the shut-down, the upgrade of the Taiwan office was just as quick with two of the pods continued on a different aircraft to New Zeeland and then on to an undisclosed location and one of the pods continuing on to South Africa on that KLM 747. Yang believed that the November mid-quarter meeting would be interesting. His mobile phone rang, it was Julio. He heard Julio say, congratulations on being up and running. A smile came over him face, yes congratulations he said to himself. Julio stated he would be landing in Taiwan at 17:30 hours and they would review the move and his meeting with the staff in Hong Kong earlier today.[/FONT]

Just as Kevin’s feathers were in place, the phone rang. It was the MX9 office in Prague. The cleanup had already begun in the east; all was firmly under their control.

“Good,” huffed Kevin. “It would do no good for image if we are forced to launch early.” The codes were ready and systems were go for operation “Millet 2018.”

Continent-wide monopoly on millet was certainly the most lucrative endeavor fronted by Greytown 1.0 or 2.0. Serious money was needed to sustain the large grass parakeet clone troops in the northwest regions of the pacific islands.

Julio and the rest will be surprised when the scope of Millet 2018 comes into view.

In the meanwhile back to preening. It’s been a long day.

[FONT=&quot]As the KLM 777 crossed the International Date Line, Julio smiled as he recalled Frederick’s comments regarding time travel. The 777 was streaming along at 465 mph enjoying the flow of the Jet Stream. Frederick had been a powerful force and mentor in his life and his insights on life and the interconnection of near all things continued to inspire Julio. He recalled Fredericks comments regarding security and that limiting knowledge of the extent of one’s operation and activities, plus setting a spider’s web can provide not only protection, but intel of an attacker. Frederick provided the foundation for the expansion of Mealy International and one of his first partnerships was with Yellow-Nape Amazon Law. [/FONT][FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]Pricilla[/FONT] and Frederick quickly became a growth force, first in the Americas rooted in the Federation of Amazona and later in Western Europe. Fredrick created Mealy International to support his client base to grow with systems and support in International Business. The business model was founded on Word of Mouth and bringing services to their international customers only as they needed them.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Julio recalled his first meeting Frederick. It was just a bit more than three years ago at an annual meeting of the Federation of Amazona. Frederick was the featured speaker and Julio was speaking just before him. Julio presentation was a motivational style hyping the advantage of the Federation and it caught Frederick’s attention. Julio recalled that as he completed, Frederick was standing just behind him and opened his wing and asked to meet after Frederick’s address. That meeting changed Julio’s life forever.[/FONT]

They are sending peacocks to the Americas, that’s like sending a brass band to a church service he mused. The low profile that their customer base maintains will cut a wide pass around that parade. In addition, last weeks’ notice had already alerted them of this likely occurrence.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The laptop binged with the completion of the software’s evaluation. Julio was not surprised by the result and sent a copy on to Pricilla. He also sent a communication to the head of European Finance requesting an invoice be sent to a specific group in Eastern Africa for the costs of the attack on Yellow-Nape facilities (locations not specified) and to show the cash provided a bit over a week ago to Julio as Payment in Full. In addition, he copied Priscila, since she advised him to hold the money in an account for that group’s future legal expenses.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]When they began reconfiguring the seven individual groups within Mealy International, Fredrick was adamant that they never be publicly linked with each other. Always separated with little more than recommendations from one group to another as a customer was seen to need additional services. That single concept became the foundation for the complete security spider web and knowledge /data control. Regardless of who was looking, each segment appeared as separate entity. The Americas’ was the first to complete the transformation late last year with Western Europe following early this year and Eastern Europe early this Summer. Pricilla’s opening remarks of the last five days covered most every point in crystal clarity. That changed when she provided Frederick’s plan for regional growth in 2019 and 2020. She stated that at the November’s mid-quarter meeting, she would provide the five-year plan. There was clear concern that a number of districts showed limited to no growth. Areas that had been on the growth side of the scale at the August meeting. Pricilla took a deep breath and opening with Ladies and Gentlemen; The recent events and our growing knowledge base supports a redirection of investments in time and a transfer to other areas. Whether we like it or not, political stability is a foundation for the assured growth of our organization. Each of your districts’ growth is fully dependent on our customer’s comfort in investing in their organizations. Their investment is founded around the political stability in different areas and specific location around the world. Remember our customer base is international in scope. In truth, we follow them and when they limit activities in some areas and enhance it in others, we need to assure that we meet their needs. The lines went quiet.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Julio filled in the silence and provided additional points regarding many of the activities over the last four to five day and what those activities meant for their districts and how that effected the plan for 2019 and 2020. He also reviewed the now completed business and security upgrades that are in place at all facilities worldwide. He also reviewed the protocols regarding organization data and communication paths between offices, districts and regions. Julio ended with; We are a leader and therefore a target! The spider web security system is now operational worldwide and it demands our attention as it will provide each of you moments to a few days of, sad to say, an attack, whether on the electronic equipment or the facility itself. The system has auto-safe actions that move to a safe mode and will notify you. Remember, the access codes change continually, lock-outs will occur if protocols are not met.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]When you are with our customers, listen to what they are seeing and listen closely to even the minor changes in their plans, like a change in shipping routes or patterns, etc.… That information when added to the overall information flow defines changes that we need to understand and react too.[/FONT]

Our long-term goal is to reestablish relationships. At present, we seem to be the scape-goat. Until that changes, we are limited as to what we can bring to that district. Regarding the individual that you have ready for an interview, I contacted her and that interview will happen. At this date, the time and place aren’t known, but rest assured you will be part. [FONT=&quot]The copilot stated that they are 150 miles from the runway and began decent to 28000 feet and dropping airspeed to 280 mile per hour. The pilot confirmed changes as he switched to radar sensing mode. If our intel is correct we should sense their new radar at about 100 miles out. Set the slope for a quicker descent, I’m not interested in any surprises. At that point, he switched-on the cabin intercom and stated that they will be flying directing into the airport and need to adjust altitude much quicker than normal. Switching-off the intercom, he told the copilot to note a need to change the flight plan to reduce to King Air status earlier. At 130 miles out, they had leveled off at 28000 feet and flying at 280 miles per hour. Less than two minutes later, the radar sensor alarmed and the pilot reached over and pressed the button turning the alarm off. Dirty buggers, the copilot stated. The pilot said, he was not surprised since the boys had a new toy and had it turned to maximum. They will get their claws slapped when they toast the power supply. Fifty miles out, the copilot contact the tower and confirmed their flight path and runway selection. He then switched the intercom on and announced that they will be landing shortly and prepare for landing, please do not depart the aircraft as we will only be on the ground for a few minutes than switch it off. The pilot took over the controls and they began running down the prelanding check list. At fifteen miles out, the landing lights were turned on and the copilot noted the projected landing time as 5:14 hours. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]James had arrived at the airport and positioned himself in the predetermined location. He watched the aircraft land. It taxied across the airport and pulled up short of his location. The port engine shut-down and the lower section of the door opened and then the upper section. The copilot stepped out and met him. James continued into the aircraft and noted that the rear lab door was closed and that Pricilla was sitting to starboard and that someone else was sitting in front of her, he sat in the forward-facing seat next to Pricilla. After a quick check, the copilot reentered the aircraft and closed the doors. As he stepped into his chair, the lab door opened and she emerged and started to seat down. She stopped and reached over to James and she hugged him and said, so good to see you. James heart skipped a beat, as his mind flashed the reality of just how much she looked like her mother. Clearly Judge Mac’s daughter had inherited both of her parents easy with the Law, but clearly the beauty of her mother. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The pilot started the port engine and balanced it with the starboard engine as the co-pilot contacted the tower. The tower cleared them to taxi to the runway. The engines were brought up and the two pilots ran down the pre-takeoff check list. Still moving, the copilot contacted the tower and requested approval for take-off. The tower came back with an approval. The aircraft turned onto the runway as the pilot brought the engines to 80%. They quickly built speed and when ground speed was obtained, he stated rotate. The craft lifted with easy and the copilot retracted the gear and flaps. He noted the take of time as 5:47 hours. At 3000 feet, the pilot turned the aircraft East and continued lifting-out at King Air rate. As far as the tower was concerned a King Air 350i had landed, picked-up a passenger and flew back out. The leased P180 EVO was anything but. At 140 miles out, they turned North and lifted from 28000 to 38000 feet and increase air speed from 280 to 380 miles per hour. The copilot noted in the log, the distance and time that the tower radar was no longer sensed.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Pricilla welcomed James and quickly updated him on the discussion the two Ladies had. She than stated that she was sorry to have moved things up so quickly, but business demands. James agreed. Pricilla thanked James for his earlier interview with Sara and his strong recommendation of her. As you know James, both Sara’s mother and father are close friends of mine and the loss of Judge Mac was painful for all of us. But I digress. I wish to say that I fully agree with your recommendation. She then turned to Sara. Your educational background and stated interests really lend itself to legal work that our Eastern and Southern Africa offices do not actively involve themselves. Now James needs additional staff and he needs one ASAP and another before the end of the year. Sadly, for James, you really do not fit his current needs. I’m not about filling positions, but finding individuals with heartfelt desires and a place in our organization that allows them to obtain those desires. So, how do you feel about contributing at another location within Yellow-Nape Law that is actively involved in your field of study and interest?[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Sara’s mind was at and ahead of Pricilla’s question and with a deep breath answered Yes! Pricilla was quickly back with a question about how much travel she would be comfortable. Sara’s comment was to the point, I Love to Travel. And Pricilla just as quickly stated I'd like to offer you a position with Yellow-Nape Law, this position will be with the America’s Group. Travel would be at or above 75 percent of the time. Is this of interest to you. Sara was just as quickly back with what part of the America’s group? Pricilla smiled widely, she loved the quickness of her mind. The position we have is with Julio’s group and you would be reporting directly to him and traveling in support of him and his team in not only the America’s but in each of the districts he becomes involved. Sara’s eyes went wide as she stated: I would Love such a position! Pricilla stated: Well young Lady, Your Hired![/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Pricilla turned to James and said that she was sorry to have stolen his new employee. But, she had read the recommendations of the two other individuals that he sent to her and that one clearly a real possibility, but that the other individual needed a deeper background investigate. She passed the files over to him with her notes on both of them. James quickly looked over the notes while Pricilla was covering the process of becoming hired by Yellow-Nape and the time lines of the different process. I have talked to Julio and he will be making another of his circle navigation tours in early November and we believe that you need to join him on that tour likely meeting up at my office in Amsterdam. I’m not sure which direction he will be heading but let’s target meeting up in Amsterdam. In the meantime, I will have a member of our European Human Resources group meet with you and go over the offer in detail. Hmmm, one moment! Pricilla switched her intercom on and asked her pilot what the arrive time would be in Telavi? The pilot came back stating about an hour. Please contact our Telavi office and have staff meet us at our hanger to begin paperwork for Sara. He came back with; consider it done. Pricilla looked at Sara and stated, I assume this would not be a problem? Sara smiled and said not at all![/FONT]

Breaking news....

Prime Minister ScoMo was taken aback by when handed a photo apparently depicting the mysterious Deep Beak. It bears a striking resemblance to the shadowy figure seen accompanying a missing ASIO lorikeet operative last seen staggering unsteadily from the Hot Henz Gentleroosters Night Club, who has not been seen for well over a month. CCTV footage from outside the nightclub appeared to show the lorikeet withdrawing a large sum of cash from an ATM before before being bundled into a black SUV and driven away to an unknown location. Australian Federal Parrot Police are enroute to continue investigations in situ.

Meanwhile the political fallout from the recent coup d’etat in Briz Vegas continues. Minister for Home Affairs Mr Peter Buttonquail’s very eligibility to sit in parliament has been brought into question due to conflicting pecuniary interests. It is also alleged that he is a silent partner in the experimental medicinal marijuana company “Joint Ventures” which has been the recipient of substantial government grants. Further information has been sought under the Freedom of Information Act and Mr Buttonquail has so far refused to comment.

Noting with satisfaction that wi-fi ports have been added to the Hot Henz Gentleroosters' Club booths, the Rickeybird experiments with Skype on his new laptop. Buzzing all his contacts with requests, nobody seems to be responding. Finally, Deep Beak appears on screen, but the Rickeybird is tired from his day's thuggery, and has dozed off. In his sleep, he murmurs... "Ellllllennnnn... Ellllllennnnn..."
Deep Beak smiles and takes note.

Keep it a secret, Kevin is turning into a real sweetheart.

Never give up on your birds, they’re all amazing creatures in their own right. Not one can replace another but they all are special. Watching this formerly fearful grey open up to the point of asking for head scratches when he previously ran away is so rewarding. He’s helped our family while we miss Nigel; the reward of helping him is amazing.
