Jack is an adopted Grey. We love adoption around here.

You never fail to bring a smile to one's face!!! :D

Wait, that young sparrow looks healthy enough to have full memory of his life prior to arriving in safe quarters. Good Lord, no one tell the Reporters!!! There are rumors running wild that several of them have had feather extensions added to their worn tail feathers!!! :D

What mission could be so important to send such a young sparrow to carry-out!!! Hmmm, will need to order more corn that pops! This could become serious as I had just received notice from Julio that the Rum shipment was late leaving Port.

Safe quarters appear to be to this sparrow's likings, looks to be growing rapidly!

Jack Sparrow doing so well. He has some injuries from the fall. He’s “crooked” but healthy otherwise. Jack is with us to stay [emoji177]

Yes Jack the grey Sparrow has begun to grow at an accelerated rate. This is largely due to RK’s royal fare that exceeds local produce.

Jack the grey is now perching a bit. He will soon be transferred from his hospital cubicle to an awaiting regular room.

Poor Jack...he does look a little "crooked" from the back  but he does have the best chance with RK and his amazing staff!

Thanks for bumping our thread!

Update on Jack Sparrow: Jack healed to the point of flying! Long and happy story short, Jack flew to freedom a couple of months ago. We miss him but it was so special to see him go back to where he should be.

The grey? Ha! Kevv still ornery and sweet. Slight improvement in humor as we work together. His new cage almost done - am so thrilled. We’ve had to make it ourselves but well worth the effort.

Sorry so quiet. Work has been all-consuming but Kevv gives me respite and joy. What a sweetheart he’s turning into. Still not wanting hands but has learned not to chew the perch when I have him step up. To discourage biting the stick, I blow on his face and say “no.” He then mimics me “nooooo.”

New words: shower, mommy and noooooo.

Greytown construction:

New condos popping up all over Greytown as the Blue Fronts have bought up all available real estate.

The Greys are suspicious.

The Ringnecks are curious.

The Macaws are furious.

The Macaws being furious is a reality as there has been a clear effort of money and construction that had long been the preview of the Macaws bypassing their long hold on those specialities.

The Greys' should be suspicious as they have been cut-out of the traditional backroom payoff's.

The combination of those short-cuts have vastly reduced the cost of property, permit's and construction as extremely questionable construction is likely occurring, which is only increasing the amount of skimming that is occurring.

And, the low cost of the condo's only means that they sold fast with near full buildings selling out within day's of opening. Then the Blue Fronts are transfer ownership to the condo owners and leaving them will massive issues with they buildings and the local government.

Even the gangs had been taken advantage of as they had been promised condos, but the ones they signed for are on floors that do not exist. They provided protection and muscle and got nothing.

As the Blue Fronts disappeared into the dark to set-up shop in another town.

Since Kevin no longer relies on Tapatalk on his smartphone to keep up with the news, he relies on the underground led by the yellow fronts. The macaws are planning an all-out chewfest on the weekend to cut off power to the misting system.

The plot thickens as news is leaked to the Greytown Gazette, the newest gossip sheet in town.

Those Yellow fronts have long operated on the edges and just below the surface for years. There, but not there, they have influenced many with their slant on what's happening and who is really in control. There has been comments regarding the money that tends to flow between the Gazette Editor and the Head of the Yellow Fronts to a point that its is confusing as to who is leading whom.

The Macaws had used this approach in the pasts with great success, but it was in the heat of the year not when cooler winds seem to have the upper hand in the local weather. At this moment it's all up in the air as timing with the weather is either a win for them or a loss opportunity.

Kevin seems to have many choices, but few provides the kind of shift that he needs to keep the rats from taking over the kitchen.

Word has it from the underground IT keets that the macaws are planning their assault on Memorial Day. Countering their plans, the keets have planted a virus in the macaws online software causing a major cut in power. All banking activities of the macaws has been suspended and their funds frozen and mysteriously withdrawn.

The long arm of Greytown reaches far.

Meanwhile, Kevin is perched with a satisfactory grin (how he manages that with no lips is something only Kevin can do) spread across his face.

Hm, what kind of expansion will he plan with this unexpected haul?

The Year of the Hack!

The Mac's are truly beside themselves. The huge loss to the Blue-Fronts, hurt cash flow, but this Hack has placed them in a dangerous position! They are left with only their weapons at hand, plus they're Huge beaks and claws. Blind rage is dangerous, add their savage Beaks and Claws are the makings of a blood bath.

The wise have moved to the upper floors and have turned to corn that pops as movement on the Streets will be dangerous!

Ah, the promise of revenge entices those foolish enough to follow it. Greytown is wise to the goings on as Greytown surveillance is first in a league of its own.

While beaks and claws might be threatening, nothing threatens like a closed cage.

Greytown lockup is a real thing.

The Palm Cockatoos hold the key.

"The Palm Cockatoos hold the key."

Key holders have such control and are always worth following their actives.

Even with the loss of Mrs. Black (aka: Blackwell) Ravenhall has been the source of much discourse. Greytown is truly on edge as the lockdowns have built resentments from near all /to all!

Amy,senoir member and co-founder of "Houses R Us" has been in contact with Ralphie and Kiwi, trying to convince RB to get RK to revise construction plans..afterall only mansions will do,not little condo's that the building code's allow..

Meanwhile at city hall department of planning:

Codes are being violated by Lilac Construction company. Seems the codes only allow for the largest of high rises in this part of the country. Anything less than 10 floors unacceptable as tenants need sufficient height for landing perches.

Mysteriously enough, or not, the Yellow Crowns suddenly disappeared, their leave notice citing “insufficient funding to continue.”
